Plein air painting is an incredible moment of communing with nature and interpreting a natural outdoor vista into an emotive painting. It is a spontaneous, fun and meditative process transforming light, colors and shape onto the canvas in front of you. Like magic, all this happens in brief a couple of hours. This creative process is available to anyone who has a desire for it. Barry’s natural and easy teaching style will make this seemingly out of reach process accessible and fun.

Take advantage of this unique workshop by an internationally recognized artist! Barry will give a demo showing his approach, and then guide you from start to finish. He will be available throughout the workshop for one-on-one feedback and direction.

All materials and equipment will be provided (easel, oil paints, brushes, canvas). Just bring your hands, eyes, warm layers, water, snacks and a creative spirit!
